New first-fix starts with wet-room layout and the stack tie-in. Then runs, fall and clip spacing. Pressure test before screed or finishes. Repairing an old run is not this page — see pipe replacement and sanitary plumbing.
How pricing works
- Survey and measuring are free
- We come to the address and inspect the plumbing on site. The age of the building, the state of the pipework and whether the fault is inside the flat or in the shared stack all become clear at this stage.
- The figure is agreed before work starts
- We tell you what will be done and what it costs first. Nothing is stripped, cut or replaced before you approve.
- We don't publish a fixed price list
- The same job varies with the age of the building, how accessible the pipework is and which materials are used. Rather than posting a misleading headline price, we measure on site and tell you then.
- Materials from our own store
- We bring parts from our building materials store in Namık Kemal, so you don't lose a day to a second trip.
Frequently asked questions
Will you attend first fix?+
Yes if the stack and wet rooms are ready. Timing on survey.
Reuse old pipe?+
If sound and reachable, in part. Rotten runs are renewed — split on survey.
Who does the screed?+
After our test. We can point you; we do not mix the quotes.
Water off?+
New runs are done empty. Stack tie-in may need a short shut-off.
